After you contact us, we will reach out and set up a time to chat about your wedding! This consultation can be on the phone or in person. We will get more details from you and come up with a quote! When you work with us, we will then send a contract, deposit fee, and Google document to put your invitation info & guest list addresses in. Our couples typically spend at minimum between $1,000-$1,500, depending on level of customization.
Once we get a good idea of what you envision for your dream wedding stationery, we will sketch comp drawings of different layouts & designs. Comp drawings are rough thumbnails that provide a broad idea with enough detail to see the direction it will go. You then get to choose your favorite!
This is one of the largest and most important steps of the process--and one of the most exciting!
We will paint the watercolor (if applicable) and letter names & insert headings (also, if applicable). We will then layout the design that was agreed upon and send digital proofs. Once those are approved, we will work on the envelope calligraphy while your invitations are sent for printing.
This is when your vision becomes a visual reality! We will discuss what paper colors and printing method your heart desires--digital to letterpress.
Once your invitations are printed, we will assemble them and work on the finishing touches. Your invitations will be sent out and voila!--your guests will gush and rave over how gorgeous they are--not to mention how excited they will be for your big day!
